60 point board, string, metal rivets
This box was custom-made for this book using 60 point board. Careful attention was paid to the grain of the board to reduce warping and delamination.
To better protect the content of the box, gaps at the head and tail of the spine and fore-edge were minimized to create a tight fit. This box is held closed by wrapping the string around the rivets attached to the fore-edge panel of the box.
